Al Hirschfeld (1903 – 2003)

The Al Hirschfeld Foundation remembers Debbie Reynolds and her remarkable career. Hirschfeld first drew Debbie in Singin’ in the Rain in 1950 and he would capture both her professional accomplishments and her personal ones. He drew her in Hollywood films and her Broadway appearances as well. She was a talented performer, a dedicated family member, and a strong advocate for Hollywood history. RIP.
