At the Albrecht-Kemper Museum in the fall of 2007 there was an exhibition that showed the lifetime work of Missouri artist Vincent Campanella, Thomas Hart Benton’s closest friend. After Benton died, Campanella completed, at the urging of Benton’s widow, his best friend’s last work.
This work is unsigned but it is pictured in the Museum’s exhibition catalogue on page 21. We will include a copy of the catalogue with the painting.
